Reserch on Menstruation State of High School Girls with Questionnaires

Abstract
1. The prupose of study ; In the study, we investigated the menstrual history, the degree of dysmenorrhea, the recognition of coping mode with questionnaires in order to use it as basic materials for orient-medical prevention and treatment.

2. The method of study ; For the study, 897 girl students of J Girls¡¯ High School and J Girls¡¯ commercial School students in Pusan were sampled. Data were collected through questionnaires of 14 questions in March, 2000 and were analyzed using the Korean age, the percentage of persons and cases.

3. The result of study ; As the result of this reserch, there was no significant differences of menstrual history and dysmenorrhea disorder in control group. The most of girls recorgnized their own dysmenorrhea, but endured pains or depended on drugs by the absence of an appropriate method of medical treatment. Also it shows that orintal clinic is not recognized as a menorrhea disorders¡¯ field of specialization better than Gynecology clinic, that is, western medicine, but 17% out of girls selecting oriental clinic said that western clinic is not proper for care, 75% out of the girls who experienced medical treatment as severe pain replied that they visited oriental clinic for care.

According to the above results, we found that orient-Gynecology clinic is an appropriate means with some potentialities and suggested that it is necessary to a fundamental solution and anxiety for national health.
